E cigarettes entail almost as many different choices as do tobacco cigarettes. There are longer versions, about as long as a pen, that were among the first designs released on the market. These LEDs, however, because they are not constantly illuminated, are usually easily enough distinguished from a burning paper cigarette.
There are several convenience factors with e cigarettes. One of the most significant is that there is no fire and no ash involved in enjoying the “smoke”. Smoking standard cigarettes is notoriously dirty and a large part of this stems from the smoke and ash left behind after the cigarette is finished. An e cigarette releases no ash, obviously, and the user exhales a mist rather than smoke. Smoke is particulate and, therefore, it covers surfaces, stains walls and lingers in the air. The vapor from an e cigarette dissipates after being exhaled and does not leave the lingering stink of tobacco in its wake.
E cigarettes are good choices for those who want to enjoy their nicotine, but who do not want to expose themselves to the risks associated with combusting tobacco. These devices are increasingly popular, especially as smoking bans become more and more the norm. An e cigarette cartridge is, in the vast majority of cases, the equivalent of a pack and a half of paper cigarettes in smoking time. There are different flavors of cartridge available, as well as choices that have no nicotine, reduced levels of nicotine and levels commensurate with a standard cigarette.
